Okay, so call me a crazy fan..I dont care. :)
I was looking up when Adrian Belew would be coming to/around NY, and found his blogspot here, and hes playing right in Buffalo, I couldnt contain my excitement, So I had this urge to create an account, and tell him(or whoever runs his page) that I am pumped!! :)
So now, I am off to listen to some amazing Adrian<3and maybe throw in my Crimson DVD, Man with an Open Heart is one of my many favorites! "Could be irregular and singing in her underwear" story of mah life babe :D What I would give to actually see him sing that song live...
So this brings me to another small rant: WHAT are people listening to these days?? I cant seem to get over it. Pussycat Dolls? Lil Mama?.whats that song about her lip gloss poppin?? Umm yeah right. ashley simpson?..can the world get a clue already PLEASE? I am only 20 years old, so these 30 somethings driving down the street in their 1989 Camaros blasting Lil john REALLY need to wake up and hit the record store immediately for something worth the $$. My blogs will mainly be me talking about music, since it is my love, and consumes most of my time. Why am I writing still...right--its Adrian time!!

Hey, you will get to hang out with Ade, too. He waits around for at least an hour or two after every show and has a drink with fans, signs stuff, talks, takes pics...so do Julie and Eric.
But yeah, I have to agree, doing out to dinner and knocking back a few martinis with him is one of the best experiences ever. It's impossible not to love him.
I hear you on the Hannah Montana. billy Ray Cyrus' daughter for fuck's sake. It's a disgrace and it makes me embarrassed to be human. I intend to work 24/7 when Side Four Live comes out in two weeks to promote the hell out of it...wait until you hear this band live...it's like a religious experience, or the closest to religion I ever come ha ha.

OH man! that is great, now Im even more excited! I want to meet him so bad, I even had a dream about meeting him just last night!! it was great, but then i woke up..damn! LOL Its impossible not to love him just by watching him on stage, hes so adorable, and always smiling. Ive seen some of the Power Trio-Only on youtube though, theyre looking awesome! Adrian only plays with the best :) Do you know if they cover any Crimson? I would just LOVE to hear a song or two from when Adrian was in the band,too amazing!

Ha ha - I tour with them whenever they let me. I keep telling them I'm not "groupie mom", I'm a total music freak and was an Adrian groupie before they were born. I mean, not a real groupie, an Adrian fan.
Yeah, they do a selection of songs written by Adrian which he performed with KC - Elephant Talk, Three of a Perfect Pair, Frame by Frame, Thela, Neurotica, Dinosaur...I think that's it but Im not sure.
Side Four Live, which will be available for pre-order November 20, has Three of a Perfect Pair, Dinosaur, and Thela on it; the rest is Ade solo stuff live from his entire career. Wait until you hear it! I've had a copy for months and can't stop listening to it.
All three of the trio are warm and friendly and you will have a blast. And I think Eric may be in your area the first week of December - he also plays with Dave Dreiwitz of Ween in a band called Crescent Moon - www.myspace.com/davedreiwitz.
Eric has a blog over at www.ericslick.blogspot.com - you should read it and comment - I'm sure he'd love to hear from you.

OOH thats awesome-I really want to hear him play "Man with an open heart" I cant get enough of that one! :) But all his songs with them are kick ass!! I cant wait to get side four! sooo excited! youre so lucky you already have it :) wow he plays with a guy from Ween? I also love Ween, i love all that funkyy shiit lol.
I will def. have to check out the myspace/and Erics blog too,for sure.
Im still having a crazy thought that when they play in Buffalo this March, they wont stick around and I wont get to meet em! Im working on a little something to give Adrian for a gift--and if Im walking out the doors still with it, I may have to attack the tour bus! LOL
